Mr. Nelson is the Director of Innovative Solutions Group. In this role, he plans and directs operations, programs, and technical support within the group and for its clients.  He is charged with ensuring that customer program objectives are met or exceeded.

He works closely with Government Business Development Group (GBDG) to maximize profitable business growth.  Mr. Nelson also is responsible for developing budgets and staffing plans for programs awarded to or that will be delivered by the Innovative Solutions Group.

Prior to joining CDO, Mr. Nelson was the Technology Manager, Software Development – E-Commerce for America Online, Inc. He planned and directed development and implementation of enterprise-wide applications, enhancements, and technology solutions to meet challenging business demands within a 24/7 service-driven environment.

Mr. Nelson has 15 years experience in the Information Technology and Organizational Management fields and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from University of Dayton.  He also received an MBA from Ohio Dominican University. Mr. Nelson currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Dayton Regional STEM School.
