Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) IDIQ

The Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract is a Multiple-Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $12.5 billion, supporting the Department of the Air Force, including Air Force, Guard, and Reserve bases worldwide. The BIM contract is designed to modernize, operate, and maintain the Department’s network infrastructure, with work expected to continue through August 15, 2034.

Awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Enterprise IT & Cyber Infrastructure Division, BIM serves as the overarching initiative to upgrade the Base Area Network (BAN). The scope includes the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of both NIPR and SIPR wired and wireless network components. It also covers ongoing network operations, health monitoring, and sustainment activities to ensure secure and efficient performance across all Air Force locations.
